so why, you might ask, if I am in the gorgeous city of Firenze, am I wasting my time writing a blog entry about an American Christmas movie? Because it is the holiday season, dammit, and I am not in America to enjoy it. I am enjoying it here in Italia, but several of my favorite blogs are really gearing up the Christmas schmaltz and it makes me happy to look at it all. Actually, it is probably best that I am in a strange land, as being in the US with no home to decorate might drive me to some sort of craft-related implosion.
In other news, I had my first full day of class today... 4 hours. Not too bad. My classmates are very nice. I am the only American in the bunch (not surprising). I do pretty well for about 2 hours before la mia testa รจ piena.
I am jealous about the I taly visit...my brother just got back from 10 days there...
