Crock Pot Carnitas
Prepare to swoon.
What you need:- Crock Pot
- 4-5lb pork shoulder (mine was like $6)
- 1 can beef stock
- 5 or so cloves of garlic, peeled
- cumin
- 4 limes, squeezed
Throw these items into the crock. I am so lazy I did not even brown the pork before, but you can do that. Turn the crock pot on low and let it cook for 6-8hrs. When it is done, shred the meat with a fork.
Serve with:
- Salsa. I recommend Arriba! Fire Roasted Mexican Medium Red Salsa . Whoa baby.
- Cilantro
- Limes
- Sour cream
- Tortillas if you like
- Red or Black Beans
